Expanding our senses: BodyMedia

From the age of 16 up. Registration possible until the evening before, limited number of participants.

Every day we interact with technologies which expand our senses: cameras are our eyes, Apps guide us through the city and video platforms create virtual meeting spaces.

In this online Workshop, Mira Hirtz invites you to explore these technological extensions of our senses with the means of performance. In the frame of the exhibition »BioMedia«, we will investigate how virtual and analogue, camera and eye, map and memory meet – by engaging our bodies and creativity! No pre-experience in performance or the use of technologies is necessary, just bring your curiosity to experiment. 

You need at home: paper, pen and a little bit of space to move.

Digital requirements: internet access, video conferencing capability (computer camera and microphone). The workshop will be hosted on zoom. We will send you the Zoom link shortly before the workshop begins.
