Ina Čiumakova

Ina Čiumakova is currently doing her MA in Media Arts Cultures as part of Erasmus Mundus Excellence program. She has obtained her Bachelor degree in Classical Philosophy at the Vilnius University (2010, LT), later continued with her Master degree in Cultural Studies at the University of Leuven (2016). In parallel, she assisted several sound artist with artistic production, namely members of iii collective in The Hague in 2014, participants of SoCCos project at the sound art laboratory Q-02 in Brussels in 2015/2016. She as well was one of the organisers of public creative workshops teaching digital writing skills and creative writing inspired by sound. Ina is particularly curious about performative artistic practices, experiments and installations engaging with sound, light, film and eventually technologically enhanced human body. At ZKM, Ina is currently working on updates concerning the sound and video material for the Sound Art Archives and Collections.
