Cecilia Preiß

Cecilia Preiß is a media scientist and was employed at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe until 2023, where she worked at the intersection of art, science and technology. She studied literature, art and media studies at the Universities of Constance, Venice and Bochum and subsequently completed her PhD at the DFG Research Training Group »The Documentary. Excess and Deprivation« on contemporary media art and multimodal perception. Within the project »intelligent.museum« she deals with the possibilities and challenges of using AI technologies in the context of art and culture.
