The Function of Art – With Alistair Hudson and Tania Bruguera

The Cuban artist Tania Bruguera coined the term Arte Útil, which means both “useful art” and “art as a tool”. This initiative explores how art can actively impact everyday life and transform social and ethical problems. In an inspiring dialog, Tania Bruguera and Alistair Hudson discuss the role of art in the 21st century: Does art have a function? Can it bring about real social change?
