Description
The symposium focused on current perspectives of acoustic urban planning.
More than half of the world today lives in cities; designing urban living spaces is becoming increasingly relevant. Up to now, visual criteria have been crucial for town planning decision processes, while sound potentials on the other hand are not used adequately. The symposium dealt with the question of which sound design options can have a positive effect on the quality of life in cities.
