Why is the network unsafe? What are security concepts based on today and what belongs to trustworthy communication on the Internet? In his lecture Rainer Neumann highlights central aspects of network security.
Neumann introduces topics such as encryption techniques and explains what web-of-trust is all about. The lecture is aimed at interested laymen and does not require any previous knowledge.
