In their lecture, Dr. Klaus Nippert and Andrea Stengel, the two curators of the exhibition »200 Years | 100 Objects«, will present the history of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in historical photographs and using its art objects.

The presentation will offer a visual journey, exploring the evolution of KIT from its origins as the Karlsruhe Polytechnic School (established in 1825) and its subsequent transformation into the Karlsruhe Nuclear Research Center (founded in 1956).

Dr. Klaus Nippert is head of the KIT archive and records management. Andrea Stengel is the curator of the KIT art collection and oversees the integration of art into architectural projects within the Planning and Building Department.
